About the program

Basic Operative Surgical Skills: safe instrument handling, surgical knots and sutures, wound closure, and principles of laparoscopic surgery on task trainers. The program is based on experiential learning: learners practice the skill in a safe, realistic environment, then analyze their performance with peers and the instructor in a structured debriefing session. It is delivered by certified instructors in small groups that give each learner enough hands-on time.
